KBK Workout has no backend and no user accounts. There is no server holding your training history, because there is no server at all.

What stays on your device

Everything. Your workouts, your sets, your personal bests, your programs, your body weight, your notes and your check-in photos are stored locally on your iPhone and nowhere else.

That also means the data is yours to lose. If you delete the app, the data goes with it. There is no account to sign back into and no copy on my side to restore from.

Voice logging

You can log a set by speaking to the app during a workout. The speech recognition runs on the device itself. Nothing you say is sent over the network, stored as audio, or passed to any language model.

AI features are optional, and they do leave the device

The app can generate exercise images, workout covers and suggested programs. These features are off unless you turn them on, and they require you to enter your own OpenAI API key.

When you use them, the relevant request is sent to OpenAI and is handled under OpenAI's terms, not mine. If you never enter a key, no such request is ever made and the app never contacts OpenAI.

What I don't collect

No analytics. No tracking. No advertising identifiers. No crash reporting tied to you. No email address, because there is no sign-up. I have no way of knowing who uses the app or how, beyond what people choose to tell me directly.

Photos and health information

Check-in photos are taken with the camera or picked from your photo library, and are stored in the app on your device. They are never uploaded.

Body weight and progress figures are entered by you and stay on the device in the same way.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for a limited time as part of operating the service.

The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so visiting the page does not tell anyone else that you were here.
